About Just in Seoul

I moved to Seoul in fall of 2017 with my wife. She’s Korean and I’m Japanese American. We have an adorable family of three kittens, one from the US and two from South Korea. All of our kittens were adopted. I lived abroad in Japan for 6 months during college and thought Korea would be a cinch. I couldn’t have been any more wrong. My wife and I have gone through so much this past year that I’ve decided to begin blogging as a means of “journaling,” as well as a way to share some of learnings with others who might relate. Feel free to share your thoughts, questions, and concerns. I would love to hear from you!

Liter of Light

http://youtu.be/o-Fpsw_yYPg

If you have not seen this video, you should. It’s simple, smart, and innovative. Most importantly, it’s useful and has helped thousands of people. Who’d have thought such a simple device could alter the lives of so many people on such grand scale? Best of all, people are making MONEY by installing these useful “devices.”

On a tangent, imagine if green Mountain Dew bottles were used instead of clear Coke bottles? Green light has a lot of psychological benefits as well. Perhaps that could be an up sell at time of installation.

Refrigeration. We take it for granted… but others…

As I sit here, eating my pecan and pralines ice cream that I pulled out from my stainless steel GE Profile refrigerator, I began thinking about my trip to Bangalore, India three-months prior. Through a project coordinated by my MBA program, I … Continue reading
